Our Story

Arriving on the DU campus as first-year students, our Meal Map founding team struggled to find the right eats. Where are the vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options near us? We decided to build a service that answers our own question.

Our Vision

Meal Map is the hub streamlining communication between the VVGF community, health-conscious restaurants, and other resources essential to living a healthy lifestyle in the Denver area.

Our Service

Like Uber finds rides, StubHub finds tickets, and Groupon finds deals, Meal Map finds the healthy foods you are looking for as a vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free eater. Likewise, restaurants find loyal patrons that come back again and again, and VVGF advertisers find a great return on their advertising budgets. Best of all, the VVGF community loves the convenience of restaurants and advertisers catering to their needs.

How We Connect

HOW WE CONNECT

At Meal Map, our main goal is to connect the VVGF community with the restaurants and recipes they want. Consumers can post and share VVGF restaurants they have enjoyed on the Denver map, allowing other VVGF eaters to find the restaurant. Likewise, VVGF restaurants can post their restaurant on the Denver map and provide a variety of services through our app, allowing the restaurant to advertise directly to their consumers and promoting communication between VVGF eaters and VVGF restaurants to be streamlined. Additionally, recipe database companies can share their VVGF recipes on our app in order to advertise their companies and provide VVGF eaters with the recipes they want, potentially gaining more subscribers.

HOW WE CONNECT: RESTAURANTS

Connect with customers through the services on our app, gain loyal patrons, and enhance the VVGF community.

Restaurants

Starter Plan

Gold Plan

Platinum Plan

Consumers can find and post vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free restaurants they have enjoyed, sharing them with other members of the VVGF community. At this level, owners don't have control over what is being posted and shared about their restaurants.

Owners can purchase this plan before or after their restaurant has been posted to Meal Map and control what information is being conveyed to consumers about their restaurant. Restaurants can utilize various functionalities at this level, including menu share, coupons, locations, contact information, and interactive reviews.

Platinum restaurants receive Gold features in addition to our premium services in order to maximize revenue. Some of these capabilities include uploading nutritional information, gaining access to our reservation booking service, and discounted advertising.

HOW WE CONNECT: ADVERTISERS

Advertise directly to your consumers through Meal Map by giving them a sample of the resources they want, ultimately obtaining a great return on advertising.
