Starting out with a game of cards and following it up with a delicious ocean front breakfast made for a great morning. Today is beach day for the McDonalds and Mangrove Tour day for Nana and Papa.

All suited up we take a taxi to the entrance of the national park. Inside there is jungle filled with animals and two beaches. The wildlife tour is tomorrow, so we speed through the park to the beaches.

Our first step onto the beach area and we already see many people crowded around some white faced capuchin monkeys. They were super cute playing around just off the beach. One of them had a baby riding on her back, which was almost as cute as a human baby. We watched them run over to the water fountain, turn it on, and take a drink.

After several pictures we scoped out the beaches. On one side of the peninsula it was calmer with slightly more people, and the other side of the peninsula had higher surf with fewer people. We scoped out a shady spot on the side with fewer people.

The water was warm, and the sun was beating down. It was beautiful.

After a few minutes in the waves I retired to my book on the beach with mom. In the meantime, Dad and Jo went out into the waves. They each took turns doing somersaults in the waves, Dad more than Jo.

Showing mercy to the waves they return to the beach for some hands of cards. While playing, some animal friends came up to us in attempt to take some food. We quickly snatched it back, but not until a photo was taken.

Before declaring a winner we packed up our things. The park beach closes fairly early. We went down to the ocean to wash the sand off then proceeded to pulling on our clothes.

Just before we left, the monkeys made their way to the beach tree line. We took their photos again as they tried to take some belongs from another group on the beach. We effectively saved our neighbor's things, and we got to see the momma and baby monkey again.

Arriving back at the hotel we found Nana and Papa. They showed us pictures and told stories from their day's adventures. They saw a lot of wildlife that Papa took pictures of, and they each had a monkey sit on their shoulders.

Wanting to see the sunset we headed up to El Avión for dinner. El Avión is a restaurant built around and in an old airplane. The bar is inside the airplane while the restaurants surrounding. There was a great ocean view, delicious food, and a pretty sunset. Although partially covered by clouds, the sky was lit up in a variety of colors: beautiful.
