Today is boat day! We head to the dock area and as we were pulling in, it was noted that there was a different vibe. The shopping area in front of the dock appeared to be more upscale than what we had seen.

On the boat we drove out and around Manuel Antonio National Park. There was a beautiful view of the coastline. It made you realize how quickly the mountains rise from the shore.

The swimming spot was next up. The past couple of days the water had been too cloudy to snorkel because of all the rain in the mountains, but they let us give it a shot. Dad and Jo put on masks. They said they could only see about three feet. I just floated around out there, but I could see all the fish swimming around me. We spent awhile just floating out in the ocean. It was funny to look around and see all these tourists swimming around with orange floats. Mom got convinced to come out with us by the water's warmth and the fresh water rinse off.

Back on the boat we claimed our spots on the netting. Lunch was provided including fruit and pasta. It was very good, and we had a great view. On the ride back we soaked in the sun.

The tour company brought us back to our hotel where we took showers and waited for our ride back to San Jose.

On the way back we stopped at a souvenir shop to pick up the last of our souvenirs. The shop was in the town our driver lives in. He told us that people in the town made much of the stuff, and they brought their things to the shop to sell.

The last stop on our way to San Jose was the crocodile bridge. It is a bridge built for highway traffic, but underneath is the home of many crocodiles. They are cool to look at from I distance, but I would not want to mess with them. When we were first walking up we saw two of them get a little aggressive towards one another. Some of them were asleep with their mouths open. Dad saw one that was missing about six inches of his top snout. In total we counted thirty-six, but it was difficult to get a good count because they would go under the water and then resurface.

Stuck in San Jose traffic Dad and I had to find a way to entertain ourselves, so we had some karaoke. The driver was laughing at us the entire way.

We ate dinner at the hotel not wanting to venture back out into city traffic.

Our last day was a success.
