BEACH DAY!

Today is…Beach Day!! We had a slower start to our morning today, but following a nice breakfast we headed to the beach. We went to a locals beach. It was very quiet, nice, and beautiful. It didn’t seem like as many people could speak English really well, but you could still get your message across. The water was a little chilly, but very nice. We did a little workout on the beach, played in the sand, and just goofed around. It was very fun.
Next, for the first time of the trip, we headed to a touristy area. We had lunch at a restaurant by the beach. I found my fajitas! We also had a delicious chocolate soufflé and waffle dessert. Then came the shopping. It was mostly shops that you would find somewhere like Flatirons. We tried some random stuff in the stores.
We headed back to the villa to clean up for a nice dinner. The sister villa was doing a barbecue. We ate chicken, fish, and meatballs while overlooking the village. It was a pretty view and very good food! The fish here always comes with the head and skin of the fish on the plate, so it looks just like a fish. This can be a little difficult for our "pescatarian" at times.
All of us tired from the day headed back to the hotel for a good nights sleep.
